Rome via della Conciliazione, that connects Castel Sant'Angelo to San Pietro, has been opened by raising down an entire medieval borgo of crooked streets and reinassance buildings. somebody actually likes it, together with other major re urbanization in the city of that time such fori imperiali.
it cannot be called urban disaster but indeed raises questions about modernization of old sites such the core of Ancient Rome.
