O tema em questão aborda, a partir das reflexões abertas pelo teólogo católico Jacques Dupuis, as relações existentes – de incompatibilidade ou compatibilidade – entre a identidade religiosa cristã e a abertura ao mundo pluralista religioso pós-moderno. Constantemente presentes, como pilares do arcabouço teórico utilizado, estarão as reflexões daqueles estudiosos que, cônscios da realidade plural do mundo religioso atual, e não contentes com uma identidade amarrada somente à tradição e aos dogmas iniciais, desbravam um caminho ao mesmo tempo aberto às demais religiões e com identidade própria, porém, não fechada.

O objetivo principal desta pesquisa é mostrar a possibilidade de uma reflexão localizada religiosamente, porém, aberta ao contato e diálogo com as diversas expressões do pluralismo religioso hodierno.

The discussed theme, based on the reflections initiated by the catholic theologian Jacques Dupuis, deals with the existing relations of compatibility or incompatibility between the Christian religious identity and the opening to the pluralist postmodern religious world.

Constantly present, as pillars of the theoretical base here used, will be the reflections of those who study this subject, and who, conscious of the plural reality of the existent world and unsatisfied with an identity linked only to tradition and to the initial dogmas, pioneer a road that is at the same time open to all other religions but that has its own identity, however, not absolute. The principal objective of this research is to indicate the possibility of a religiously situated reflection, open, nonetheless, to contact and dialogue with the diverse expressions of today’s religious pluralism.

Partant des réflexions présentés par le théologien catholique Jacques Dupuis l’article approche la question des relations compatibles ou incompatibles entre l’identité religieuse chrétienne et l’ouverture au monde religieux pluraliste post-moderne.

Les bases de la pensée de l’auteur sont des chercheurs qui, conscients de la réalité plural du monde religieux actuel et mécontents d’une identité rapportée uniquement à la tradition et aux dogmes, cherchent un chemin ouvert aux autres religions et une identité propre non fermée. L’objectif du texte est de montrer la possibilité d’une réflexion religieusement ancrée dans un crédo mais ouverte au dialogue avec les différentes expressions du pluralisme religieux moderne.

Ausgehend von den Überlegungen des katholischen Theologen Jacques Dupuis befragt der Artikel den Zusammenhang von christlich-religiöser Identität und Offenheit für die religiös-pluralistische post-moderne Welt auf Inkompatibilitäten und Kompatibilitäten. Die Erörterung stützt sich auf Reflexionen von Theoretikern, die sich der pluralistischen Realität der aktuellen religiösen Welt bewusst sind, sich aber nicht mit einem Identitätsverständnis zufrieden geben, das sich nur aus der religiöse Tradition und ursprünglichen Dogmen speist. Statt dessen suchen die betreffenden Autoren einen offen Weg, der zwischen der eigenen religiösen Identität und anderen Religionen vermittelt.

Hauptanliegen des Beitrags ist der Nachweis der Möglichkeit einer Reflexion, die in der eigenen Religiosität begründet ist sich jedoch Kontakt und Dialog mit den verschiedenen Ausdrucksformen des gegenwärtigen religiösen Pluralismus nicht verstellt.
