The project is made of a great photographic image with a final
projection area equivalent to 2.70 m x 8.0 m. It will be broken up in about 80
pieces (of one only photo) and located in six different plans, in a way that only
from a particular point of view it will be possible to visualize the image as
a whole. Each plan will have a different number of images: once each plan being
at a different distance from the observer, it needs a specific amount of photos.
The first plan will be about 4 meters from the observer and 1.80 meters will
separate one plan from the other. Until that the last one is 13 meters from the
observer, or the accurate union point of the 80 images in only one.
The photo will be taken with a panoramic camera; with 5,5cm
x 17cm size negative and Technical Pan film, developed by Kodak and ordered by
NASA, for photos made in space with the highest degree of definition.
Each image will be developed in Duratrans (transparency) and will be applied
on an independent source of light that has the thickness of acetate and hung by
very small wires. This will give the impression that the images are floating,
therefore these lights dont have any base or light box, engendering a unique
effect in the assembly.
